LET YOUR LOVE SHINE IN

'Let Your Love Shine In' is another divinely inspired song message written by Greaternity's Robert J. Thompson (aka Bobby Joe Owens). 'Let Your Love Shine In' has Our Lord Jesus Christ explaining the dangers of an empty heart and calling on God the Father to fill the hearts of unbelievers with The Holy Spirit to protect them against evil and grace them with everlasting life. 'Let Your Love Shine In' shares an extremely positive message with great energy and danceable vibes.

planting seed

‘Planting Seed' is the latest divinely inspired song message from rising Christian Country Project, Greaternity.  Written by Greaternity's Robert J. Thompson (aka Bobby Joe Owens), ‘Planting Seed’ is about sharing the love of Jesus without pushing it on anyone.

As born-again Christians, we know that you cannot force one’s beliefs on anyone else, but you can "plant seed" and potentially open the possibility in someone’s heart to seek a relationship with Jesus Christ. “Planting Seed” could mean sharing Bible Verses, Bible Teachings, through personal conversations, through acts of kindness or by the sharing of a song. There are many ways we can plant seed without being intrusive or pushy. One of the best ways to plant seed is to become a shining example of God’s grace, love, and kindness so that others can clearly see and in turn, they may ask questions and/or strive to live a life like yours in Christ.

There are many mentions of sowing or planting seed in The Bible, but the most known is the “Parable of the Sower,” a parable of Jesus found in the New Testament Books of Matthew 13:1-13, Mark 4:1-20 and Luke 8:4-15.

“Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.” Luke 8:11

“But that (seed) on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit and patience.” Luke 8:15

We pray that this song will plant a seed with all non-believers and those who may have strayed away from their faith so that one day this seed can grow inside them and bear great fruit in their relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Glory be to God! Amen!

WHAT A WONDERFUL NIGHT

'What A Wonderful Night’ was written by Greaternity's Bobby Joe Owens (aka Robert J. Thompson) and is based on the birthplace of Jesus Christ and biblical truths surrounding his birth. An inspiration and secondary reference for the song is the late Pastor Stephen Armstrong's (Verse By Verse Ministry International) Christmas 2020 sermon, ‘Why Bethlehem?’, on the importance of the birthplace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

‘What A Wonderful Night’ identifies Jesus’ place of birth as a “tower in a field” and this reference is found in the Old Testament Book of Micah (Chapters 4 and 5). The “tower in the field” called ‘Migdal Eder’, also known as ‘tower of the flock’ was located in ‘the fields of David’ just outside of the town of Bethlehem in an agricultural area known as ‘Bethlehem Ephrathah’. The tower was used by shepherds to watch over and protect the temple flock that produced the “unblemished” lambs used for sacrifice at the Temple in Jerusalem. In the bottom of this tower, there was a room (could be called a stable room) used for birthing lambs and in this room, there was a manger and there were “swaddling clothes” used to wrap and protect lambs being transported to Jerusalem for sacrifice. As the New Testament Book of Luke (Chapter 2:7) states “there was no room for them in the inn,” the song depicts Joseph and the Virgin Mary proceeding to the ‘tower of the flock’ on the outskirts of town to seek refuge for the night. As they approached the wall of the tower, they would have been challenged by the shepherd keeping watch over the field. Both Joseph and Mary were direct descendants of Israel’s King David and therefore had ancestral rights to enter ‘the fields of David’ and request shelter. The song continues with the shepherd welcoming Joseph and Mary to stay for the night in the room located in the bottom of the tower. At some point that night, Mary goes into labor and gives birth to the Christ Child with Joseph present and the shepherd joining them. Baby Jesus was then wrapped in the swaddling clothes to protect and keep him warm, like an unblemished lamb, and then laid in the manger by Joseph and Mary. Throughout The Bible, there are references to Jesus as the ‘Lamb of God’ and we believe this is why. Jesus was born in the same field and tower as the lambs used for sacrifice at the Temple in Jerusalem and some 33 years later, Jesus was “God’s perfect lamb” who was sacrificed in Jerusalem on the double holy day when Passover and the Sabbath coincided for the deliverance of humanity from sin and the attainment of eternal redemption through faith in Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior.

As we celebrate Christmas this year and every year, let us remember the birth, life, ministry, crucifixion and resurrection of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as the sole and true reason for the Christmas holiday.
